How is it made?

Father Christmas is an original AI character with an original AI voice. Not an actor, and not a copy of anyone. We add your child's details to his script, make the voice, and lip-sync it to our fireside film. A real person watches every video before it's sent. Videos are AI-generated.

Will he say the name right?

Yes. You tell us how it's said (“Saoirse = SEER-sha”). If it's still wrong, we remake it free within 24 hours.

Do you need a photo of my child?

No. No photos, no surnames, no school. Just a first name and a few details.

What happens to my child's details?

We use them only to make the video. They're never used for ads or to train AI. We collect them on the order form after payment, never on the card page. We delete your child's details and the video files by 6 January 2027, so download your video to keep it. Full notice below.

Can grandparents order?

Yes. You tick a box to confirm the parent is happy for you to share the details. We send the video to you to pass on.

What if I'm not happy?

The Nice List Promise: we remake it, then refund you. Wrong name: free remake within 24 hours. Still not right: full refund within 7 days of delivery.

What we collect

From you, the buyer: your name, email and order details. Stripe handles card payments; we never see your card. About your child, only what you type on the order form: first name and how to say it, age, one good deed, one wish, a short personal message, and who it's from and where they live (town or country only). We never ask for photos, surnames, schools or addresses.

Why

To make and deliver the video you've ordered. Lawful basis: contract with you.

Who helps us

Stripe (payments), Tally (order form), ElevenLabs (voice), sync.so (lip-sync), our email provider and our file host. They act for us under contract. Some are in the US, under UK transfer safeguards.

What we don't do

No ads from this data, no selling, no AI training on your child's details, and no tracking on the page where the video plays.

How long

Your child's details and the video files are deleted by 6 January 2027. We keep a basic order record (your name, email, amount) for 6 years for tax.
